No interaction was found between time and outcome, showing no evidence of differential evolution during the first 24 h. The only parameter that changed significantly with time was cardiac index with a mean increase of 0.05 L/min/m2/h. Continuous lines indicate survivors, and discontinuous lines indicate non-survivors
