Mild | No signs of pneumonia on imaging |
Moderate | Fever and respiratory symptoms with radiological findings of pneumonia |
Severe | Dyspnea, respiratory frequency ≥ 30/min, blood oxygen saturation ≤ 93%, PaO2/FiO2 ratio < 300, and/or lung infiltrates > 50% within 24–48 h |
Critical | Respiratory failure, septic shock, and/or multiple organ dysfunction/failure. |
