Correlations between plasma biomarkers. Plasma levels of I-FABP were moderately positively correlated with plasma levels of TFF3 (Spearman rho, rs = 0.48, p < 0.001), while I-FABP and citrulline and TFF3 and citrulline were weakly positively correlated (rs = 0.29, p < 0.001 and rs = 0.33, p < 0.001, respectively).
